It all began in 2011 when I had a first chance to work with a California-based company Red Digital Cinema on various educational and promotional projects. I worked on and off for RED in Los Angeles for three years. In 2012 I made a camera operator feature film debut, working on a documentary “Váňa” with national theatrical premiere in late 2012. After coming back to Czech Republic I focused on television production, shooting multi-camera scripted television series. Later on continuing into the roam of live broadcast and live theatre. Currently, I focus on cinematography for commercial, documentary and music video projects, often shooting on 16mm film. In 2023 I made a cinematography feature film debut as a 2nd unit director of photography on “ONEMANSHOW: The Movie” film.

While working on short films in the early years and during school I gained irredeemable experience in post-production as an editor and visual effects compositor with broad theoretical knowledge of digital and analog filmmaking process, post-production and distribution workflows.
